Homeschool Adventure Day: Owl Pellets

Tuesday, March 26, 2019

SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology is proud to offer Homeschool Adventure Days to our Central Florida families!

These events enable individual families to partake in our Group Education Offerings and Group Education Rates, without organizing a group!

Tuesday, March 26th

11:00 am - 12:00 pm

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Owl Pellet Dissection

Recommended Grades: All Ages!

Did you know owls swallow their food whole, bones and all? After digesting what they can, owls regurgitate a little lump of fur and bones. These are called owl pellets. Dissecting an owl pellet and identifying the bones inside allows your Junior Scientist to study the diet of owls!

Please Note: The owl pellets used in this program have been dried and sterilized, but latex gloves will still be provided.

Reserve Program!

Please Note: Check-in begins at 30 minutes prior to each time slot.
