Owl Pellets

Recommended Grades: All Ages!

Check In- 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Program- 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Did you know owls swallow their food whole, bones and all? After digesting what they can, owls regurgitate a little lump of fur and bones. These are called owl pellets. Dissecting an owl pellet and identifying the bones inside allows your Junior Scientist to study the diet of owls!

Please Note: The owl pellets used in this program have been dried and sterilized, but latex gloves will still be provided.

Reserve Your Spot!

If you would like to complete both programs, you can add an owl pellet dissection to your Jr. Vets program for only $5! Please call the Education Office at (407) 890-5239 in order to make your reservation.
