SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology is proud to partner with EPIC Charter Schools as a Learning Fund vendor!

EPIC Days allow EPIC students* to visit the museum and complete a hands on educational program using their Learning Fund, without scheduling a group! 

Event Schedule: 

11:00 AM - Tale of the Tooth

Recommended Grades: K- 2nd

Through hands on investigation, students will learn about animal teeth and then use their knowledge to discover what different animals eat. Practice critical thinking skills, observation and use of evidence to defend your conclusion.

2:00 PM - Amazing Animal Adaptations

Recommended Grades: 3 - 5th

Students will examine real furs, bones, skulls, eggs, teeth and insect specimens to identify different adaptations that help animals survive. Students will record their observations while moving through different stations to practice critical thinking skills.

*Please Note: EPIC Days registration is only open to EPIC Charter School students.

Reservations must be approved and can be made by contacting the SKELETONS Education Department by calling (405) 814-0006 ext. 120 or emailing education@museumofosteology.org. Registration closes two (2) weeks prior to the event.

We will meet in the classroom on the second level for scheduled program(s).
