SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology is excited to announce our upcoming Homeschool Day on Wednesday, April 11, 2018! We invite everyone attending the events to enjoy:
- all-day museum admission
- a scheduled hands-on program
- special scavenger hunts
Grades K-5 - Locomotion: How Animals Move
10:00am-11:00am - Locomotion: How Animals Move familiarizes students with a key feature to animal survival; locomotion! We will aslo play an Animal Movement Charades Game at the conclusion of the program.
Grades 6-12 - Keys to Identification
12:00pm-1:00pm - Keys to Identification familiarizes students with using dichotomous keys to identify mystery skulls. Students locate and measure skull features, count and evaluate dentition (teeth), and preform measurement conversions.
*Children under 3 do not require a ticket
