SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology is excited to announce our next Homeschool Day on Saturday, July 28, 2018! We invite everyone attending the events to enjoy:

K-5th Grade: Locomotion: How Animals Move 10am-11am
This program familiarizes students with a key feature to animal survival; movement. Much can be learned from observing the bones associated with motion: diet, predator-prey relationships, etc. Participants will observe skeletal features that define a particular type of movement. 6th-12th Grade: Animal CSI 11:30am-12:30pm
Read the bones to discover the story written in them. Students will be introduced to the world of forensic science and learn how to identify pathologies (evidence of trauma and disease) found on a variety of animal bones.Each student receives age appropriate scavenger hunts to complete activities and questions around the museum. *Children under 3 do not require a ticket
Please Note: Each age group (K-5th & 6th-12th) will meet in the classroom on the second level for their scheduled program.
